Ashamani Muchahary, a 4th Semester student of Sarupathar College, a national Pencak Silat medalist and a representative of the Assam team in the Khelo India National Beach Games 2025, has achieved a significant milestone by getting selected in the Assam Rifles under the Pencak Silat Sports Quota. The result was declared on 31st December 2025. She formally received her appointment letter on 24th January 2026 at the BSF Headquarters, Guwahati. Her achievement has brought great pride to Sarupathar College and serves as a strong inspiration for young sportspersons across the state.
