The 21st September , 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the United Nations' General Assembly's adoption of the Declaration and Programme of Action on a Culture of Peace; a significant milestone reflecting the United Nation’s commitment to partnering with Governments, institutions, and communities, to address the underlying factors that challenge social cohesion and disrupt peace.
Synchronising with the global quest for Peace, the International Day of Peace was organised today under the aegis of Day Observation Cell, Sarupathar College. Dr. Ridip Khanikar graced the occasion as Resource Person.
