Sarupathar College successfully conducted its Student Induction Programme 2026 for newly admitted B.A. and B.Com first-semester students on June 19, 20 and 22 at the College Auditorium. The three-day programme was organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with the Admission Committee with the objective of acquainting students with the academic environment, institutional values, and campus facilities.
The induction programme featured a series of informative sessions by distinguished faculty members, including Dr. Pranab Phukan, Dr. Prem Kanta Borah, Mr. Satyabrat Dutta, Dr. Ridip Khanikar, and Dr. Pritom Sutradhar. The speakers addressed the students on various aspects of higher education, academic discipline, career opportunities, and the student support services available on the campus.
Principal Dr. Prapti Thakur remained present throughout the programme and interacted with the newcomers, encouraging them to make the most of the opportunities offered by the institution and to pursue academic excellence with dedication.
The programme concluded with an interactive session, providing the freshers an opportunity to engage with faculty members and seek clarifications. The induction programme helped the students begin their academic journey with confidence, enthusiasm, and a better understanding of the college's academic and co-curricular environment.
