Report on Weaving Exhibition – 2025

The Weaving Exhibition – 2025 was successfully organized at Sarupathar College as part of the Samarth Scheme for capacity building in weaving. The exhibition marked the culmination of a two-month training programme initiated under the Samarth Scheme by the Department of Commerce and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sarupathar College, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati.

The primary objective of the exhibition was to showcase the creativity and technical proficiency of the trainees who had undergone specialized training in traditional weaving techniques. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 30 trainees and was attended by a host of esteemed guests and faculty members.
