Jayashree Bordoloi

Assistant Professor, Economics

About

I am native to the Sonapur area 19 km away from Guwahati city of Kamrup (M) district. Completed my M.A. (Eco) and MPhil (Eco) from the renowned Gauhati University of Assam. They say great leaders are not born but are man-made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work. I strongly believe that the ability to learn is one of the most important developments of humanity. On that note, I consider myself an ambitious, hardworking, and self- motivated soul that reinforced my desire to be an academician in the said field. I am always keen to up-skill myself by learning new things whenever I do get a chance. I always love being around the students and share a great bond nurturing them to their fullest potential. My greatest strengths are my parents, my human touch to the situations, and being realistic. Nevertheless, I am fascinated by being adventurous, a hodophile, and do enjoy my free time by reading books. Being an academician, my ultimate goal is to master my position and advance my skill contributing to the betterment of the institution as well as the society to a greater extent.
